This notice explains what happens to your information when you contact Derica Solutions. In short: I only collect what you send me, I only use it to reply to you and I never sell it or use it for advertising.
Who I am
Derica Solutions Ltd is the data controller for information collected through this website. The company is registered in England and Wales, company number 16460357, and registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration number ZB997717. You can contact me at abi@dericasolutions.co.uk.
What I collect
When you use the contact form or email me, I receive:
- the name of your organisation
- your current website address
- your email address
- anything else you choose to include in your message
This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or any tracking.
Why I use it
I use your details to reply to your enquiry, carry out the free website review you've asked for and, if you choose to go ahead, prepare a quote. The lawful basis is my legitimate interest in responding to people who contact me and taking steps you've asked for before we agree any work together.
I won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing unless you ask me to.
Who else sees it
A small number of service providers handle information on my behalf, and only to run this website and my email:
- Netlify hosts this website and receives contact form submissions
- my email provider stores the messages we exchange
Some of these providers may store data outside the UK. Where that happens, your information is protected by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.
How long I keep it
If we don't go on to work together, I delete your enquiry within 12 months. If we do, I keep project records for up to 6 years, as required for tax and accounting.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how I use it. Email abi@dericasolutions.co.uk and I'll reply within one working day.
If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
